paullong.net provides face-to-face and remote INSET training seminars for teachers of Computer Science for Edexcel, OCR and AQA.  At reduced costs than charged by examination boards, training is available at good quality venues and led by a text book author, NCCE Subject Matter Expert, Ofqual Expert, former Principal Examiner/Moderator and Head of Computing.  We are also able to discuss openly areas that exam board personnel are not allowed to discuss.

Paul also runs courses for the National Centre for Computing Education (STEM Learning) which will be shown below but bookable through NCCE.

Note about costs:

In order to keep costs down, paullong.net Training uses venues with reasonable hire charges and focuses on providing high quality content delivery.  This usually involves charitable or church buildings.  As such, teachers should be prepared not to receive the 3 course dinner that used to be provided by exam boards.  However, care has been taken to ensure that the venues are of a high quality and close to transport links.  A buffet lunch is included at all venues except London.  Tea/coffee/water/biscuits are provided throughout the day and some venues include WiFi access.  Fancy hotel branded pens and paper are not included and most documentation will be provided electronically.  You are strongly advised to bring a laptop with you to training seminars.  You can be assured of high quality training.

Please note there is a £5 admin fee for completing any additional documentation such as BACS forms or self certifying forms. All BACS and tax details are included on the invoice. I certify that I am self-employed, hold public liability insurance and am registered to pay tax in the UK.
