These model answers include model code for solving Edexcel’s Programming Projects (previously NEA) for students taking exams in 2018-2021.  The answers also include the whole process from Analysis through to Evaluation typical of a grade 9 student.  The relaxed rules for all exam boards now allow teachers to set their own programming tasks, so these model answers are suitable for any examination board.  The answers are produced by a previous Principal Examiner, Syllabus Developer and experienced teacher of Computing.

Model answers are available for:

  • Sample Assessment Material (SAM) – Task 1
  • 2017-18 – Tim’s Diner
  • 2017-18 – Election (Code only)
  • 2018-19 – Coin Count
  • 2019-20 – Tim’s Diner

The answers provided are a sample and a guide.  They will help teachers and students to understand how to do the tasks.
