at paullong.net (s h o p @ p a u l l o n g . n e t). Due to Paul
being a teacher, other contact details are only available upon request
by recognised educational establishments. Such requests are dealt
with very quickly. This site is run by Paul Long who started sharing OCR ICT coursework resources free of charge to teachers across the UK and also internationally in the 1990s. Paul is the Head of ICT at St Francis of Assisi Catholic Technology College in Aldridge Walsall. The school is judged to be "Outstanding" by OfSTED with strengths in RE and ICT. Paul spent many years as the Principal Moderator and Principal Examiner for the Structured Practical ICT Tasks coursework for OCR's AS Level ICT until he left to concentrate more on family life. During this time, he gained valuable experience and knowledge of how an exam board operates and how complex assessments need to be clarified in order for teachers and students to understand them. Paul is a co-author of two of Hodder Education's best selling text books:

His contributions to both books were
considerable, including the whole set of practical chapters to the AS
book, and chapters 3, 4 and 6 for the A2 book as well as a vast array of
dynamic learning resources on the Hodder Dynamic Learning resources:
Paul's main focus is now on teaching and providing coursework, teaching and learning resources to schools across the UK and internationally. Paul teaches OCR's A Level in ICT and CCEA's GCSE in ICT and his students achieve consistently outstanding results. |

| When Paul is not working, you will find him enjoying time with his wife Catherine, spending time with friends and family (especially his nephews Joe and Lucas), watching good quality television such as Spooks, or taking part in adrenalin filled activities such as white water rafting, sky diving and theme parks! He owns a caravan so spends a lot of time on holiday and also enjoys skiing holidays and anywhere where the sun shines! Most important to Paul is his faith in Jesus Christ and he is a founder member of The ARC Community Church in Sutton Coldfield. | ![]() ![]() |
